Art supplies

I've decided to put together a page on my favorite Art supplies and a few links below to make it easier for you to learn about Art supplies and where to buy them. I have tried a number of Art supplies and have learned a little. First of all it can be over whelming when your just a beginner ARTIST. I love painting and drawing. I love colors. I love fabric too, but that's another subject (smile). Be sure to listen to the Holy Spirit and don't support businesses that are glorifying the enemy. Its hard I know. There are some places that make my skin crawl.

Ok Lets start here, Kids art supplies, Crayola has a web site  www.crayola.com It's really cute and they have some fun craft ideas, also they can tell you a list of suppliers in your area or you can order on line at

The wonderful Sanford products below are available on line at www.staples.com I put the page links on the kids felt markers below. The prices at this web site are reasonably low.

Ok I really LOVE these SMELLY SCENTED FELT PENS, AND THERE REALLY BRIGHT COVERS, and COLORS. MR. SKETCH SCENTED WATER COLOR MARKERS BY SANFORD. There are twelve colors and they smell soo GOOD! They are not washable, meaning they are messy, good for older kids! They also have a set of fine tip. They DO have smelly washable. If you can, find some paper made for markers. I have some but its kind of pricey about 6 dollars for 40 sheets. Its made by Borden & Riley paper Co. Inc. and its called bleed proof paper for pens. 9x12 inch, I like it a lot with my felt pens :0) I bought it at Meininger Art supply store. It does bleed through a little bit so I use a extra piece of paper under mine. I also Like Bristol paper by Strathmore for pens, pencils, and air brush paint.

Sanford COLORIFIC they have a great line of products. They also have Sanford colorific scented washable a set of 12. They have Scented Pencils they smell good and write fine.

They Have Colorific Gel Markers and they are cool they work great on dark paper and look like paint. One of my yellow ones seemed dry so I dipped it in water and that helped. They are really neat! See picture at left.

Another good place to get Art supplies for Kids is at Costco, Sam's, Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I know Kids Love to paint and I know parents hate the mess. But I think for a special surprise to say I love you to your children you should get out the paints. There are many kinds that are water clean up. One Idea I read about was this. Mix water with paint (very thin) and fill spray bottles . Tape up some Large sheets of paper and let the kids spray different colors OUT SIDE.

I really Love Sanford art supplies.

Ok I'm working on this page slowly, I will have links on this page that lead to our other art pages listed in the ART section. I decided not to clean up my mess for the picture, because I'm just going to mess it up again. Smiles!
