“Rickrolling” the audience with her killer dance moves, Greta Thunberg showed fearlessness at this past weekend’s Climate Live concert. The young leader has been leading climate action for years now through motivational speeches and standing up for what she believes in. The concert comes on the heels of the COP26 Convention taking place in November.
“Rickrolling” is an internet phenomenon of the hit 80s song “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley. The song quickly became popularized by many millennials during September 2018 when Swedish schoolboy activist group Avid Life Ruckus performed an original version live while simultaneously kicking off Unextreme Youth Off/ShorlCs ActIons.
