| DOES GOD HAVE A WIFE?

There are four places in the bible that the
bride of Christ is mentioned. Once in the old testament these words are
spoken to His people: For the Lord delights in you, and your hand shall be
taken in marriage, as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so shall your
God rejoice over you. {Isaiah 62:4&5}
And in the last book of the bible it says: " Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." {Jesus is often referred to as the Lamb because he was sacrificed for our sin} Rev.19:7 THEN it continues in verse 8: and to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. 9.Then he said to me, "write: 'blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'" "THESE ARE THE TRUE SAYINGS OF GOD." Rev. 21:2; THEN I, John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3.And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. verse 9 says; THEN one of the seven angels ---------came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." 10. and he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. 11. having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. IN OTHER WORDS, WE HIS CHILDREN ARE BEING PREPARED AS A BRIDE, TO BE THE BRIDE OF CHRIST TO LIVE WITH HIM IN A FAITHFUL RELATIONSHIP FOREVER AND EVER STARTING NOW HERE ON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN ETERNALLY! |
"THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY COME!"
and LET HE WHO HEARS SAY, "COME"!
AND LET HE WHO THIRSTS COME. WHOEVER DESIRES, LET HIM TAKE THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY." "THESE SAYINGS OF GOD AND TRUSTWORTHY AND TRUE" HE WHO TESTIFIES TO THESE THINGS SAYS, " SURELY I AM COMING QUICKLY!" EVEN SO, COME LORD JESUS COME! {end of the book of Rev. and end of the Bible}

| HOW CAN WE BE HIS CHILDREN AND HIS BRIDE??? | This is a good question and it has a terrific answer! God is like no one on earth that we have ever known or seen, that's why His name is God and above all names. The fact is that He is everything to us and he has many names and titles in the bible, all with a wealth of meaning and comfort to us. Here are just a few of his names. They help describe who he is to us: Ever Lasting Father, Living Word, Lamb of God, Savior, Good Shepard, Lord of Lords, Resurrection and the Life, Prince of Peace, Master, Man of Sorrows, Judge, Faithful and True, High Priest, The Door, Living Water, Prophet, True Vine, Wonderful Counselor, Redeemer, Holy One, King of the Jews, Our Rock, Our Friend, Son of God. | ||
