| WHY SHOULD I PRAISE AND THANK GOD? |
Oh
that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His
wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing
soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. {Ps. 107:8}
Oh come let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord God our maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. {Ps. 95:6} God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. {Romans 5:8}

WHO ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD AND WHY ARE THEY SO SPECIAL?

| HOW DO I KNOW I AM SAVED? | As many as receive Him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. {John 1:12} For by grace you have been saved through faith {your trust in God} and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus FOR good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. {Ephesians 2: 8,9} | ||
| WHAT
IS WORSHIP
WHY IS WORSHIP IMPORTANT? |
1.
Doing the things God asks me to do because I want to please Him is a
very important way to worship Him because it brings glory to Him and
shows others His goodness.
2. Being thankful to Him in your heart for all he has done and is doing for you or for others, for the beauty he has created, for the blessings in your life and even for the correction he gives. 3. Singing about how much you love Him and speaking to others about what he has done for you. Showing Him that you love Him and appreciate Him in anyway is a very important way to worship God.
I urge you, brothers, because of all of Gods mercy he has given you, I urge you to give yourselves {your bodies and your lives} as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, because it is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1 {#1,2&3 are the things you do to give yourself to God} |

| I'M JUST A KID, MAKE IT SIMPLE, WHAT CAN I DO AS A CHILD TO PLEASE GOD????? | CHILDREN, OBEY YOUR PARENTS IN THE LORD, FOR THIS IS RIGHT. "HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER"-- WHICH IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT WITH A PROMISE: " That it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." {Ephesians 6:1-3} | ||

DOES GOD TELL US WHAT TO DO? IS HE JUST TRYING TO BE BOSSY?

The Lord God is your Father in Heaven and He loves you even more than you can know because Gods love is perfect. We on earth are not perfect so we do not know perfect love. He loves you more than you can even imagine. He also knows what is best for you and what will bring you a good and successful life. Deuteronomy 4:40 says: Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. "Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you." | ||
| IS EVERYONE A CHILD OF GOD? |
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And That is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known, But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God: nor is anyone who does not love his bother. |

| WHAT
ARE SOME SPECIAL THINGS THAT GOD DOES FOR HIS OWN CHILDREN?
There are many many promises that God has given to those who love Him. You will find them in the Bible.

The
human eye cannot see, nor can the ear hear, nor can the heart of man
comprehend the things God has prepared for those who love Him,
BUT GOD has revealed His mysteries to us by his Spirit {the Holy
Spirit} for the Spirit searcheth all the deep things of God.
{I Chor. 2:9&10} In
other words, its too awesome for human words to describe what God has
prepared for those who love Him. But He reveals His secrets to His
children by His Holy Spirit. He gives us knowledge and
understanding beyond human understanding, only supernaturally do we
receive wisdom and understanding as we seek after Him.
"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father." {Jn. 14:12} That means that what ever you ask for that God is in agreement with and is in His purpose and plan, He will grant. "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- The Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you." these are words of Jesus before His crucifixion {Jn.14:17} |

| I UNDERSTAND THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US LOTS OF PROMISES, BUT DOES HE ALWAYS KEEP HIS PROMISES??? | Know that the Lord your God is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to the thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands. {Deuteronomy 7:9} | ||
| TELL ME ONE REALLY NEAT THING THAT I AS A CHILD OF GOD HAVE THAT THOSE WHO ARE NOT DON'T! |
